How Do I get setup with online assess to my accounts?

Call you local branch for assistance. They will verify your identity and process with assigning a user ID and password.
Bill payment service is also available and can be setup at the same time.

What kind of security do I have using internet banking with bill payment?

We use SSL 128bit encryption plus we use a multifactor authentication, including access ID’s, passwords and a security picture. Passwords do expire on a regular basis. You will be prompted to change it prior to being locked out.

How are bill payments sent to the vendors?

Most are sent by electronic payments. If the vendor accepts electronic payment then they go electronically, if not a check is generated and sent on your behalf.

What should I do if I have a problem with a payment?

What is the limit on my debit/ATM card?

There is a daily limit of $500.00 per day on your debit card when you present the card at a retail location. You may also get $500.00 from the ATM on the same day, as long as you know your PIN

Does my card work internationally?

Yes. Watch for the CIRRUS or Mastercard logo at retailers or on ATM's. When traveling overseas please use a reputable financial institution or hotel when using your cards to prevent any attempt to steal your identity. Watch out for mechanisms on or around the ATM that don't appear to belong there. If in doubt find another machine.
Please notify the bank if you plan on traveling abroad.

Can I change my PIN?

No. 1st Financial Bank uses a calculation with the card number to arrive at the PIN. We feel it is the safest way to protect your account. Please never write or keep your PIN with you. It should be kept in a very safe place. If needed the bank can retrieve it for you, but it does take about a week. We do not have access to PIN's at the bank.
